Avery Britt, a 14-year-old from Suwanee, Georgia, was named the VFW Auxiliary overall national winner of the 2020-2021 Get Excited for the Red, White and Blue! national anthem singing contest. She was sponsored by VFW Auxiliary 5255 in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Contestants began by competing at the local VFW Auxiliary level. The first-place winner from each Auxiliary advanced to the District competition (optional) with District winners advancing to the state competition. State first-place winners advanced to the National Auxiliary Program Division competition.
National Auxiliary Program Division winners will each receive a $100 Visa gift card. One national winner was selected from the 10 National Auxiliary Program Division winners and will receive an additional $1,000 Visa gift card.
