The following VFW Auxiliary youth contest and scholarship entries are due to a local VFW Auxiliary by March 31:
- Illustrating America: This contest rewards the artistic abilities of elementary and middle/junior high school students. The contest consists of three grade divisions: 1-2, 3-5 and 6-8.

- Get Excited for the Red, White and Blue!: This contest allows youth to share their talent, display their patriotism and express their creativity while singing “The Star-Spangled Banner.†They can also win a $1,000 national prize!

- Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest: Students in grades 9-12 compete with other student artists from across the nation for a chance to win one of ten national scholarships, with the first-place winner receiving a $15,000 scholarship!
