Our Tualatin VFW Auxiliary hosted the weekly networking event for the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce today, from 7:30AM – 9:00AM. We had about 50 people attend, and Auxiliary President Kathy Walsh shared what we are all about, patriotism, serving veterans, and visiting the VA hospital every week.
Auxiliary member Daniel Payne shared about Memorial Day activities planned for Monday, May 27th with both an Observance at the Winona Cemetery, followed by a picnic at the Tualatin Community Park. The community may donate for the picnic, and local businesses may purchase a new banner for $150.00 to finance the picnic, or re-use a banner for $100.00.
