Just a few days until race day! Our registration numbers are already well above last year at this time, and we are likely to get close to or over 600 participants! Great weather is ahead for the weekend- so come on out and help us celebrate the 10th Annual Regatta Run! Online registration ends on Thurs. October 18; after that, you’ll need to register at RACE PACKET PICKUP at Road Runner Sports from 11am-7pm on Friday October 19, or on race day, Saturday October 20 starting at 7:30am at Tualatin Community Park. Please plan ahead, as parking will be at a premium. The WES Parking Lot, old Haggens Parking lot, the Tualatin Police parking lot, and several parking lots near the park will be stretched… but we can and we will adapt! We can do this! Time is running out! Register now and join us on Saturday, October 20, 2018 for the 10th Annual Regatta Run, a 5K Run/Walk that raises money for the Cpl. Matthew Lembke Scholarship Fund at Tualatin High School. Held in conjunction with the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta, this is a fun Saturday for the whole family.
Why
The race was created in honor of Corporal Matthew Lembke, who lost his life from wounds sustained on his third tour of duty- this one in Afghanistan, June 2009. To celebrate Matt’s character and service, a scholarship fund has been created in his name. 100% of the proceeds from the Regatta Run go into the scholarship fund.
