This morning the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce presented a check in the amount of $13,279.08 to the Foundation for Tigard-Tualatin Schools for the annual Cpl. Matthew Lembke Scholarship Fund. Dale and Claudia Lembke were present, and we all honored the memory of their son who fought in Afghanistan and died from wounds caused by an IED. Both the Men’s Auxiliary and the Post donated money to this worthy cause in 2013.
