Today was the 4th annual Regatta Run, a scholarship fundraiser named in honor of the late Cpl. Matthew Lembke, who served in Afghanistan and died of war wounds. The Tualatin VFW is a Platinum Sponsor of the event and opens the Hall up to serve hot meals, building awareness for the VFW. The Young Marines did a Iwo Jima flag presentation, and also had a color guard. The Sherwood Girl Scouts held American flags as we had a Pledge of Allegiance.
