It is held in conjunction with the \;West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta\ , which now takes place on the 3rd Sunday in October. Our course is flat\, fast\, and friendly for runners\, walkers\, stroller riders\, and four-le gged friends. Gather your family \;9:00 AM \;at \;Tualatin Com munity Park \;on 8515 SW Tualatin Road and follow the route through sc enic trails\, over a footbridge\, into Durham Park\, Cook Park and back. F or extra fun\, wear a costume and stay for a unique trick-or-treating expe rience for youth after the race. A \;NEW \;quarter mile kid’s da sh (ages 4-12) will also kickoff at 8:45am right before the Regatta Run/Wa lk.\n\nAll net proceeds will support Tualatin Rotary’s first-generation college \;scholarships \;at Tualatin High School and opportunities for school-aged children in our community. This event was founded in memo ry of Marine \;Corporal Matthew Lembke\, a 2005 graduate of Tualatin H igh School who lost his life while serving in Afghanistan.
