The Men’s Auxiliary has partnered with a local non-profit group called Mission Mahalo to help mail 37 care packages to our troops overseas in December.

Since September 10th, 2010, Jennifer L. Fair and Rene’e Atkins have sent over 550 care packages to military personnel in hostile regions of Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Bahrain. These care packages contained an estimated value of $50,000 worth of requested toiletries, food, and morale items. This was all accomplished by savvy shopping, over twenty thousand coupons, 8-10 hours each week of shopping preparation, and facilitated by two young women, working part-time, earning minimum-wage.

The Men’s Auxiliary presented a $500.00 check to Mission Mahalo at the Friday morning networking event with the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce.
